| The Excellence in Investment: Life Sciences Awards are an intergral part of the Excellence in Investment:Life Sciences Asia Pacific 2009 event.
The 2009 Gala Dinner will be held with a new and exciting twist. Held at Sea World on the Gold Coast you will meet and greet a number of 'special guests' throughout the night whilst being treated to an experience of a lifetime.

Set in a tranquil mountaintop rainforest environment, Mt Tamborine is an eclectic mix of National Parks, boutique wineries, bed & breakfast's, antique shops and art and craft galleries. In the morning you will enjoy a leisurely bushwalk in the subtropical rainforest of the Joalah National Park, followed by wine tasting and lunch at a local winery with spectacular views of the Surfers Paradise skyline. After lunch you will enjoy shopping on Gallery Walk, aptly named for its antique shops and art and craft galleries, and a visit to more wineries before returning to your accommodation.

Visit a Prize Home where you can see how the rich on the Gold Coast live and purchase a ticket to win the luxury home. Before returning to your accommodation there is free time in Surfers Paradise. O’Reilly’s Lamington National Park

O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat is nestled in subtropical rainforest surrounded by World Heritage listed Lamington National Park. Travel via Canungra Valley Vineyard where you will experience wine tasting and a leisurely picnic basket lunch in the picturesque grounds. Feed the Crimson Lorikeets and King Parrots and experience the Tree Top Walk. The first of its kind in Australia, it is 180 metres in length and is made up of 9 suspension bridges, with much of the walkway being 15 metres above the ground and allows you to walk through the canopy to see flowering and fruiting trees and vines, the epiphytic orchids and ferns, and the birds and animals that inhabit the tree tops. On the way back to Surfers Paradise, you will drop in to a local Alpaca farm and meet these gorgeous creatures.
